Description
The concept behind the Guyatone TZ2 was to create distortion using methods other than waveform clipping.
Unlike standard distortion and fuzz pedals, the TZ2 produces a sawtooth waveform that yields a much ruder and cruder sound with a whopping low-end that makes it perfect for use with anything you run into it.
The circuit contains a diode ring which adds upper octave tones to an input signal.
The upper octave tracking is smooth and subtle which gives the ability of creating very unique, synth-like sounds on upper register notes.
In addition, the TZ2 can produce atonal, clangorous tones similar to a ring modulator, making it great for special effects and more unconventional applications.
This particular Guyatone The Fuzz TZ2 is in very great condition. Only very minor signs of use.
