Description

The Pharaoh Amps Tone Engine pedal is a super-simple Germanium powered booster pedal. Suggested uses include: Volume booster - right after the guitar, before your other pedals - the Tone Engine provides a nice, warm boost to your signal chain OD Enhancer - placed after many distortion pedals, the Tone Engine can smooth out the tone of your distortion voice. NOTE: Tone Engines with serial numbers below 012 need a simple modification to be used after certain pedals. If you own an early Tone Engine, please contact us to arrange for this free modification. Controls: "Volume:" The Volume control adjusts the overall output level. "Boost:" The Boost switch defeats the negative feedback in the booster, allowing more output gain while sacrificing linearity. Great when you need a looser, grittier sound and more available boost.
