Effective August 22, 2026
NoiseFX is an archive. There are no accounts, contact forms, or checkout pages, and the site does not accept payments.
Information collected automatically
The web server may record technical details when it receives a request. These details can include an IP address, browser and device type, requested URL, referring page, and request time. The records help keep the site running and help diagnose abuse or technical problems.
Advertising, cookies, and analytics
NoiseFX uses Google AdSense to display advertising. The AdSense code is loaded on public pages and may ask Google to place ads automatically. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, web beacons, IP addresses, page URLs, browser or device information, and interactions with ads to deliver and measure advertising, limit repeated ads, and detect fraud or abuse.
Third-party vendors, including Google, may use advertising cookies to show ads based on a visitor’s previous visits to NoiseFX or other websites. Depending on a visitor’s location, settings, and consent choices, ads may be personalized or selected from the content of the current page. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Visitors can control personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings and can block or delete cookies using their browser. NoiseFX does not use Google Analytics as a separate analytics service. The older manual search may set a temporary session cookie that is not used for advertising.
Consent and regional privacy choices
Visitors in some locations may be shown a consent or privacy-choice message before personalized advertising is used. Those choices can affect whether ads are personalized, non-personalized, or not shown. Google requires publishers serving personalized ads in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland to use a Google-certified consent management platform.
Manual downloads and external links
Manual files are stored on Google Cloud Storage. When you open one, Google receives the technical information needed to send the file. Some articles link to other websites, which have their own privacy policies.
How information is used and shared
NoiseFX uses technical records to deliver and maintain the site, investigate abuse, and fix problems. NoiseFX does not maintain user accounts or sell mailing lists. Google may receive and use advertising data when AdSense loads, as described above. Server records may be shared with hosting providers or disclosed when required by law.
Retention and security
NoiseFX keeps its technical records only as long as they are needed to run and protect the site. Google controls the retention of information it receives through AdSense under its own policies. No internet service can guarantee complete security.
Children’s privacy
NoiseFX is a general-audience archive, not a site for children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
This policy may change when the site or its hosting changes. The effective date at the top of the page will show the latest revision.
